Comprehensive physical examinations are offered annually and should be booked well in advance.
An annual physical examination provides an opportunity to:
- Review current and past medical history, medications, allergies, and family history.
- Assess cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, neurological, musculoskeletal, and other relevant systems.
- Review blood pressure, weight, BMI, lifestyle factors, and cardiovascular risk factors.
- Assess immunization status and preventive health requirements.
- Review age- and risk-appropriate cancer screening.
- Assess metabolic risk factors, including diabetes and dyslipidemia.
- Review medication effectiveness, adverse effects, interactions, and ongoing indications.
- Renew or modify medications when clinically appropriate.
- Identify new or previously unrecognized health concerns.
- Discuss nutrition, physical activity, smoking cessation, alcohol use, sleep, and other lifestyle factors.
- Develop individualized preventive-health and follow-up plans.
Additional laboratory investigations, diagnostic imaging, or specialist referrals may be arranged when clinically indicated.
